Old New Tab Extension - How to Get the Old New Tab Page Back
This is a Chrome extension that is the result of a lot of pain. The new tab page is a very important page. In fact, we have the history of every single website you've ever visited, and this information is accessible without you needing to leave the browser.
But, because of the new tab page, it is impossible to retain this history without turning off Chrome. For example, you can no longer open any page and have it automatically open in the same tab.
This is not what you are looking for, right?
There is a way to get the old new tab page back, though. Old New Tab is a Chrome extension that will automatically open the old new tab page whenever you press the middle mouse button.
You can now access the information you are looking for and browse through your history of the past websites without having to turn off Chrome.
This can be enabled by going to Settings in Chrome, then Privacy, and finally, the History tab. Enable the extension, and now you will be able to see the full history of the website you visited.
This is a very limited solution, though. It does not allow you to add pages to the list and it cannot be used to open a new tab in a website you already visited.
This extension will work with the very latest version of Chrome, the most recent version of Chrome, and all versions of Chrome.
The extension is designed for private browsing and it is meant to help those that have experienced problems browsing the web and looking at the history of their own websites.
